General Information
Use: Commercial orchards and plantations/intensive horticultural situations.

Technical Details
A liquid, high potassium and high phosphorus concentrate developed originally to supply the horticultural industry.
Phosphorus and potassium are in a form readily taken up by plants using either foliar or soil applications.  The tie-up of phosphorus is further reduced in soil applications.
Phosphorus is an ortho-phosphate which will supply up to 45 times more plant-available phosphorus than super phosphate.  See Tips & Techniques for further details.
Product has been tested to -10oC without any sign of potassium or phosphorus coming out of solution.
Contains less than 15% water unlike other liquid fertilisers which require 50-70% water to ensure nutrients remain in solution.
Liquid forms of fertilisers avoid the solidifying or caking that most solid fertilisers endure in high humidity regions.
Reduced freight costs as Moeco 85 is a higher concentrated product. One litre of Moeco 85 has the same amount of phosphorus as a 3kg bag of single super phosphate and the same amount of potassium as a 2kg bag of potassium nitrate.
Able to mix and blend with water and other nutrients.
Can be injected into the irrigation system, used as a foliar spray or boom spray.

Potassium (K)   61   As di-potassium phosphate

General Dilution Rates
 Method Dilution
Foliar 2 ml/L or 1:500 (1 part concentrate to 500 parts water) minimum
Ground (soil) 4 ml/L or 1:250 (1 part concentrate to 250 parts water)
Note: For delicate plants or tender new growth, reduce dilution to 1 ml/L (or 1:1000) for either application method.  When applied to soil ensure product is watered in well.

Crop Specific Application Rates

Orchards, Vineyards, Miscellaneous Crops:
Please note: Suggested application rates are based on weekly intervals.
Volumes given in this table refer to concentrated product.  The concentrate must be diluted depending on the method of application (see table above) prior to use.

Important:  Moeco 85 is a highly concentrated potassium and phosphorus plant nutrient developed to supply horticultural crops with only these nutrients.  It should be used in conjunction with other fertilisers.  Application rates will vary with soil types, climatic conditions and prior cultivation practices.  The application rates suggested below assume that soil and climatic conditions are conducive to the particular crop intended.  Therefore the information below is a broadly-based indication only.
Crop Weekly application rate/growth stage Comment/Other nutrients
Mangoes
(NT & Nth Qld)

5 ml/tree per year of age of tree up to 50 ml.  Apply from flowering to harvest. From harvest to approximately 2 months prior to flowering, apply Moeco 35 at a rate of 10 ml/tree per year of age of tree up to 100 ml weekly.  After fruit set, apply Moeco Calcium Boron Gold at 5 ml/tree per year of age of tree up to 40 ml at monthly intervals as foliar application.
Citrus
Rambutan
Abui
Lychee
Custard apple
Five corner
3 ml/tree per year of age of tree up to 50 ml from flowering to harvest. In addition, apply Moeco 35 at 10 ml/tree per year of age of tree up to 100 ml at weekly intervals. After fruit set, Moeco Calcium Boron Gold at 5 ml/tree per year of age of tree up to 40 ml at monthly intervals as foliar application.
Pineapple
Banana
Tobacco
Sugar cane
1.5 ml/m2 during all growth stages as either foliar or soil application. In addition, apply Moeco 35 at 2.5 ml/m2 at weekly intervals.
Passion Fruit 2-3 ml per vine from flowering to harvest as either foliar or soil application. In addition, apply Moeco 35 at 5-10 ml/vine at weekly intervals. After fruit set, Moeco Calcium Boron Gold at 5-10 ml/vine at monthly intervals as foliar application.  Use the larger rate for mature vines.
Papaw 3 ml/tree from flowering. In addition, apply Moeco 35 at 20 ml/tree at weekly intervals.
Vine Grapes

0.3 ml/vine per year of age of vine up to 5 ml, from flowering to harvest. In addition, apply Moeco 35 at 3.0 ml/vine per year of age of vine up to 50 ml, from bud burst to leaf drop.  Use half the above amount after harvest.  use as either foliar or soil application.  It is important to keep fertilising until leaf drop. This ensures good nutrient storage for next season's crop.
Pome
Stone Fruit
5 ml/tree per year of age of tree up to 75 ml, from flower to harvest. In addition, apply Moeco 35 at 7.5 ml/tree per year of age of tree up to 75 ml at weekly intervals.  After harvest to leaf drop, half the above amount.  To prevent fruit split or bitter pit, from fruit set to harvest, apply Moeco Calcium Boron Gold at 5 ml/tree per year of age of tree up to 40 ml at monthly intervals as foliar application.

Peas
Beans
Melons
Cucumber
Pumpkins
Sweet corn
Tomatoes
2.0 ml/m2 from flowering to harvest After flowering to harvest, apply Moeco 35 at 2.5 ml/m2 at weekly intervals.
Cabbage
Lettuce
Sweet potato
2.5 ml/m2 after initial establishment (five leaf stage) to 1 week prior to harvest. In addition, apply Moeco 35 at 3.0 ml/m2 at weekly intervals.
Flowering shrubs
Flowers
1.5 ml/L of water when flower buds are showing as foliar application.  Spray once on foliage to dripping point for short lived flowering but at weekly intervals for sustained flowering plants. In addition, apply Moeco 35 at 10 ml/L of water at weekly intervals throughout all growing stages as foliar application (spray foliage to dripping point).
