Location
Moeco is located in Darwin, the capital of the Northern
Territory and Australia's closest city to South East Asia. Located in the
Darwin Business Park (formally Trade Development Zone), Darwin's
equivalent of an Export Processing Zone.
Establishment
Moeco was established in 1994 with the objective to produce a high quality
organic-based fertiliser. Moeco products were initially based on the
tropical requirements of the region, but have since been utilized
throughout Australia, Thailand, New Caledonia and South America.

Products are available in retail size packs through to
bulk containers for domestic and commercial usage.

Certified (Small Business Program) and HACCP Certified (Food Safety

Management: The Directors
Mr Dean Walkley has over 25 years experience in the
electrical engineering industry. Moeco's research chemist, Holger Henkel,
who is also a metallurgist, has over 40 years experience in the mining and
horticultural industry.
Processing Facilities
Moeco has a 1,350 square metre factory containing mixing, digestive
and storage tanks, a separate bottling clean room
and separate finished product dispatch area. Using their existing
facilities, Moeco can produce 10,000L of liquid fertiliser per day with
the ability to double production depending on demand.
