Technical Details |
|
 |
Primarily designed as a soil conditioner but can be used as a fertiliser
by increasing the application rates as all essential nutrients except
calcium and magnesium are present in balanced proportions. |
|
 |
Contains enzymes, folic acid, biotin and inositols. |
|
 |
Contains natural soaps which occur during the fish processing which are
excellent wetting agents. |
|
 |
Neem oil has been added to further aid wetting. |
|
 |
Contains significant amounts of bacteria, both lacto and thio bacillus,
which will exponentially multiply over a short period once applied to the
soil. This will ensure the controlled breakdown of organic matter
into plant-available nutrients. |
|
 |
Used as a soil conditioner, the poly saccharates increase the micro-organism
activity in the
soil, decreasing the effects of high salinity. Increasing the
soil's natural bacterial activity aids in the mobilization of previously
locked up plant nutrients. |
|
 |
Converts stubble from post harvest in broad acreage situations into rich
organic matter. This lessens phyto-toxicity caused by phenols
normally associated with the breakdown of cereal straw. |
|
 |
Will increase composting rate when added to compost materials. |
|
 |
Can be applied through drippers using fertigation. Also suitable for foliar applications, watering cans,
and boom sprays. |

Application Rates for
use as a Soil Conditioner |
|
|
Note: a minimum dilution rate of 50 ml/L or 1:20 (1 part concentrate to 20 parts water) is
recommended for all applications. This product is biologically
active and when diluted will start to decompose within 1-2 days.
Diluted product should be used on the day of dilution. Irrigation
lines should be flushed after application with plain water. |
|
|
| Crop/Use |
Recommended Application Rate |
Frequency |
 |
| Vegetables |
5-7 ml/m2 (50-70 L/HA) |
Apply after soil preparation plus 1 week prior to planting and again half way between planting and
harvest. |
| Orchards |
3-5 ml/m2 of area
covered by canopy |
Apply just prior to or at
flowering and again after harvest. |
| Pastures |
4-6 ml/m2 (40-60 L/HA) and |
Apply higher rate prior to establishment and then lower rate half way through
growth, after cutting or grazing and then again half way through re-growth. |
| 2-4 ml/m2 (20-40 L/HA) |
| Broad acreage including cereals
and cotton |
30-40 L/HA |
Apply lower rate just prior to
crop establishment. If fallow is practiced, especially after cereal crops, apply higher rate after harvest. |
| Composting |
3-5 L/100 L per cubic metre of hay (approx 6-8 bales) |
Spray on as required. |
| Composting drum |
2 L/100 L of drum capacity |
Apply once rotating composting drum is one third full. Turn drum to mix well with composting
material. |

Crop
Specific Application Rates for use as a Fertiliser |
|
|
Important: Moeco Bio Brew does not contain
sufficient calcium and magnesium to express full yield potential.
Calcium and magnesium is normally supplied by liming and should be
available in abundance in soils suitable for cropping. Application rates
will vary with soil types, climatic conditions and prior cultivation practices.
The application rates suggested below assume that soil and
climatic conditions are conducive to the particular crop intended.
Therefore the information below is a broadly-based indication only.
Note: This product is biologically active and when diluted
will start to decompose within 1-2 days. Diluted product should be
used on the day of dilution. Irrigation
lines should be flushed after application with plain water.

|
|
Vegetables:
as a
complete fertilising regime
Suggested application rates are based on weekly intervals.
Volumes given in this table refer to concentrated product. The
concentrate must be diluted 50ml/L or 1:20 (1 part concentrate to 20
parts water) for either foliar or soil applications prior to use. For fortnightly applications, double the rate. |

Tomatoes |
7 ml/m2 during all stages of growth as either
foliar or soil application |
After flowering to harvest apply 0.5 ml/m2 of Moeco
85 at
weekly intervals.
Moeco 85 is not considered organic, but may be substituted with 0.7g/m2 of
potassium sulphate. |
Cabbage
Lettuce
Sweet potatoes |
8 ml/m2 during all stages of growth as either
foliar or soil application |
Cabbage may need some extra
sulphur. Potassium sulphate at a rate of 0.5g/m2 will supply the extra
need. About 100g will dissolve in 1L of water. |
Shrubs Flowers |
3 – 5 ml/m2 |
Use lower recommended
dilution rate for delicate plants such as ferns and orchids. |
Orchards, Vineyards,
Miscellaneous Crops: as a
complete fertilising regime
Suggested application rates are based on weekly intervals.
Volumes given in this table refer to concentrated product. The
concentrate must be diluted 50ml/L or 1:20 (1 part concentrate to 20
parts water) for either foliar or soil applications prior to use. |

Mangoes
(NT & Nth Qld)
|
30 ml/tree per year of age of tree
up to 300 ml. Apply from harvest to approx 1 month prior to flowering (late
March to late April), as either soil or foliar application. |
From flowering to harvest
use Moeco 85 at a rate of 5 ml/tree per year of age of tree up to 50
ml OR Moeco 29 at 10 ml/tree per year of age of tree up to 100 ml at weekly intervals.
After fruit set, Moeco Calcium Boron Gold at 3ml/tree per year of age
of tree up
to 30 ml at monthly intervals as foliar application. |
Citrus
Rambutan
Abui
Lychee
Custard apple
Five corner |
30 ml/tree
per year of age of tree up to 300 ml throughout all stages of growth as either
foliar or soil application. |
From
fruit set to harvest, in addition to Moeco Bio Brew,
apply Moeco
85 at 2 ml/tree per year of age of tree up to 20 ml at weekly
intervals. After fruit set, Moeco Calcium Boron Gold at 3 ml/tree per

In addition to Moeco Bio Brew, apply Moeco 85 at 0.5 ml/m2
at weekly intervals. |
| Passion
Fruit |
10–20 ml
per vine, as either foliar or soil application. |
Use the
lower rate until flowering and the higher rate during flowering and
fruiting. |
Papaw
|
15-25 ml/tree until
flowering and first sign of fruit set. Then 30-60 ml/tree, as either

once per month.
|
Vine
Grapes
|
15 ml/vine
per year of age of vine up to 300 ml, from bud burst to harvest. Use
half the above amount after harvest to leaf drop, as either foliar or
soil application. |
It is
important to keep fertilising until leaf drop. This ensures good
nutrient storage for next season's crop. |

30 ml/tree per year of age of
tree up to 300 ml, from bud burst buds until harvest. Use half the
above amount after harvest to leaf drop as either foliar or soil

at 10ml/tree per year of age of tree up to 100 ml at monthly intervals as foliar
spray. |
